Immune System
All About . . . .
Myasthenia gravis is one of the many autoimmune diseases, which, according to contemporary Western medicine, offer no known cure, except controlling or suppressing their many disease symptoms.
This book is based on the author's own experience of battling against his myasthenia gravis: how he stopped all his medications through a holistic approach to controlling and managing the disease. This book provides insight and well-researched information that he would like to share with those who are afflicted with myasthenia gravis or any other autoimmune disease.
Albert Einstein once said: "There are two ways to live: you can live as if nothing is a miracle; you can live as if everything is a miracle." Believe in the miracle of self-healing. Healing comes only from within, and not from any external source. Every individual should avail every opportunity to initiate the self-healing process, which is innate in the human body. Just believing in the miracle of self-cure, however, is not enough; you must also empower yourself with knowledge and information to overcome myasthenia gravis through a holistic approach to the wellness of the body, the mind, and the spirit.
This book covers every aspect of holistic health to cope with autoimmunity: body detox, diet, lifestyle changes, exercises for muscle weakness, and mental relaxation techniques for vision problems associated with myasthenia gravis. "The human body experiences a powerful gravitational pull in the direction of hope. That is why the patient's hopes are the physician's secret weapon. They are the hidden ingredients in any prescription." (Norman Cousins) Find your own ingredients in your prescription for a cure of your myasthenia gravis.

Understanding What Freedom Is
Your freedom is about your right, your choice, and your obedience.
But your right
does not necessarily become your choice, and your choice may also involve
your obedience to act accordingly. Remember, you are living your
life, and nobody can live it for you. So, what is someone’s right does not
have to be your choice, and your choice may be subjective to your
obedience to others. Freedom is complicated and paradoxical, but it does play a
pivotal role in every aspect of your daily life and living.
The bottom line: To
have a better understanding of what is “true freedom”, you need wisdom to open
your mind.
WISDOM
Opening your thinking mind is your wisdom, which is not the same as your knowledge. Knowledge refers to the information you have acquired, while opening your mind means using the information collected to apply to your everyday life and living. So, an individual can be knowledgeable but without being wise.
Then, what is wisdom?
And where does it come from?
Wisdom is all about opening
your thinking mind to find out how it perceives and processes not
only all your life experiences but also all the information you have been
exposed to through your individual five senses. Your perceptions and processes
create the so-called “realities” in your own mind, and they subsequently affect
how your mind thinks, giving you your beliefs, your attitudes, and even your
self-delusions.
The reality is that you
have both a conscious mind and a subconscious mind. All your past
information is stored in your subconscious mind, which controls and dominates
your conscious mind. In other words,
your wisdom is your mental capability to separate the truths from the
half-truths, as well as to discern and discover the self-delusions and the
self-illusions stored in your subconscious mind. Without that mental
capability, you will not fully understand your “freedom”, as well as your
choice and obedience to do this and not to do that.
“The reason why man may become the
master of his own destiny is because he has the power to influence his own
subconscious mind.” Napoleon Hill
So, your wisdom is all about controlling your subconscious mind.
Thinking is also a process of self-intuition through asking relevant questions to create self-awareness and self-introspection. It is the natural habit of your thinking mind to solve problems by asking specific questions. Solving problems with specific questions is self-empowering your thinking mind to attain wisdom because it creates your intent to learn, to discover, and then to change for the better.
Knowing the importance
of asking questions and the continuation of asking more relevant questions is
the way to attaining true human wisdom.
For example, to develop
your empty mindset, do your reverse thinking—which is thinking backward
by asking questions to find out how and why you might have
your current thoughts of thinking with your attitudes and prejudices, as well
as with your beliefs and emotions. Your reverse thinking may then show you that
your so-called “new realities” are, in fact, distorted and even unreal.
FREEDOM with BONDAGE shows you how you can have "freedom" and not "bondage" in your everyday choices and decisions.

Healthy Pregnancy
Pregnancy is a nine-month period during which a baby develops and becomes a human being. The mother-to-be and the father-to-be have many dos and don'ts in order to ensure a safe and healthy pregnancy. This book provides not only a list of all the dos and don'ts, but also all the whys and why nots because as a mother you would like to know why there are certain things you should do and why there are things you should not do to guarantee a safe and healthy pregnancy.
This book is concise with a holistic approach to a safe and healthy pregnancy through the mind, the body, and the spirit.
Click here to get your copy.
THE PRE-PREGNANCY
Pregnancy is more than just nine months; it is a lifelong project that requires adequate preparation to ensure better results.
The Dos
Do physical checkup first for both you and your partner. (why: to resolve all health issues and problems, e.g. chronic diseases, such as asthma, diabetes, epilepsy, etc.).
Do blood tests to check your immunity to German measles (why: it can cause malformations in the baby) and chicken pox (why: immunization before conception if you have not had it before); to check your antibodies from toxoplasmosis (why: an infection that may affect conception and pregnancy).
Do discuss medical conditions with your doctor: previous pregnancy problems, such as miscarriage, stillbirth, premature baby; genetic disorders in family; current prescribed medications.
Do dental checkup (why: gum diseases may lead to premature birth), and dental work (why: avoiding filling or extraction during pregnancy).
Do weight management (why: overweight may lead to diabetes and high blood pressure during pregnancy; underweight may result in a small baby, problems during labor, and after birth).
Do find out your ideal weight: to determine that, you need to know your height, and weight, as well as your waist size (i.e. your waist circumference between your rib cage and above your belly button). A waistline of 35 inches or more for most women may indicate overweight.
Do find out your Body Mass Index (BMI), which is a measure of your body fat based on your weight and height. Your BMI is determined by this formula: BMI = (body weight in pounds) divided by (body height in inches x body height in inches) multiplied by (703). To illustrate, if you are 5’11” tall and you weigh 165 pounds, your BMI will be: (165/71x71) x 703 = 23 The BMI numbers have the following implications:
Any BMI that falls between 19 and 24.9 is considered ideal and healthy.
Any BMI that is below 18.5 is considered underweight.
Any BMI that ranges from 25 to 29.9 is considered overweight; any BMI that is above 30 is considered obese.
You should be within 15 pounds of your ideal weight before pregnancy, and that also applies to your partner (why: an overweight partner may have decreased testosterone leading to depressed libido).
Do birth control until you are ready for pregnancy. Hormonal contraception may take months for fertility to return to normal. Natural family planning is the way to go.
Do boost nutrients for a healthy pregnancy. Important nutrients include the following:
Calcium (why: avoiding back and leg pain, insomnia, and irritability)-eat figs and raw leeks.
Folic acid (why: avoiding structural defects) -- eat chives. Chives are a nutrient-dense food low in calories but high in nutrients. Always use a sharp knife to cut chives (why: avoid bruising the herb), and add chives to any dish near the end of cooking (why: avoid losing its flavor).
Iron (why: healthy growth of baby) -- eat chives.
Magnesium (why: cellular development; over-coming early pregnancy discomfort, such as constipation) -- eat chives.
Manganese (why: baby’s normal skeletal development) -- eat raw leeks.
Vitamin B6 (why: avoiding nausea and morning sickness; metabolizing proteins, carbohydrates, and fats) -- eat raw leeks.
Vitamin C (why: proper absorption of iron) -- eat fresh fruits and vegetables.
Vitamin K (why: healthy bone growth and proper blood-clot formation) -- eat raw leeks.
All the above nutrients and vitamins are especially important not only for pre-pregnancy but also for the first trimester of pregnancy.
Do get sufficient sleep (why: research has shown that the more sleep you get, the less time of labor may ensue; getting less than 5 hours of sleep may even increase the chance of having a C-section for delivery. Do set a schedule for your sleeping hours to help your body get on a set schedule of sleep. Do go to bed earlier.
Do take herbs to increase fertility (why: drink clover flower tea and nettle tea to increase female fertility).
Do avoid unpasteurized milk and blue-veined cheeses.
Do cook all your food thoroughly.
Do help your partner to enhance his fertility. According to a Danish study, overweight men have fewer sperms. According to State University of New York, placing laptop computers on laps may decrease sperms (why: due to accumulation of heat). Certain drugs on men’s hair loss, high blood pressure, and ulcers may also affect the quality of sperms. Do increase his intake of folic acid, vitamin C, and zinc to enhance the quality of sperms.
The Don’ts
Don’t start a teenage pregnancy (why not: pregnancy between age 15 and 19 may result in many emotional traumas, such as difficulty in keeping up with peers, financial problems, and health and life challenges).
Don’t contact mold (why not: harmful to fetus, leading to birth defects, such as paralysis, developmental problems, and even miscarriage).
Don’t eat bacteria-harboring foods (why not: increasing the chance of developing food-borne infections during preconception stage and in a developing embryo).
Don’t stress out, develop anxiety or depression in pre-pregnancy stage.
Don’t eat raw, such as sushi, raw clams, and oysters.
Don’t eat undercooked meat and eggs (why not: avoiding bacteria growth; do refrigerate food below 40°F/4°C).
Don’t take certain herbs (why not: some herbs, such as echinacea, ginkgo biloba, and Saint-John’s wort may prevent conception).

Empower Your Mind to Live Your Life Differently
In your life, there're different ways of living, and here're two examples:
Living by Wants
Yes, in
life and living, there’re many wants, including the following: wanting alcohol
may result in AUD (Alcohol Use Disorder); wanting gambling can
happen to anyone from any walk of life, due to the fun that often turns into an
unhealthy obsession with many serious financial and relationship consequences;
wanting sex can lead to pornography, adultery, infidelity, and
extra-marital affairs; wanting money can cause greed and attachments to
material things; wanting hobbies can make life more interesting, such as
dancing, drawing, and singing; wanting sports can increase
physical and mental skills in competitive sports, such as football and soccer,
while wanting non-competitive sports, such as running and swimming, can be
exercises for physical health; wanting success in any endeavor, such as
careers and businesses, love and relationships, health and healing, can set
goals and objectives in life and living.
But
living by wants requires the means, that is, the money or the earnings
to make a living, without which it’s impossible to get the wants.
Unfortunately, many even without their means yet demand their wants, and thus
ending up in crimes, such as stealing and robbing.
Living by Personality
An ego
is self-identity. Many may have an inflated ego that gives them a
distinguished personality to live by. They believe they’re not only much better
but also totally different from others. Accordingly, others must succumb
to their demands and desires. They’ve become so self-centered that they’ll
continuously inflate their own ego with higher expectations while controlling
and demanding others to do what they want them to do for them.
An Illustration
Donald
Trump, with little discipline in childhood and
adolescence, came from a wealthy family with high expectations. He began
his own business in hotels and casinos. Unfortunately, he was labeled “public
laughingstock” due to his repeated business failures in several of his different
tumultuous business careers. But, with his self-inflated egoistic personality,
Donald Trump was still able to give the public “delusional” perception of his high-flying
success in real estate. He even started the Trump University, but that only ended
up in many lawsuits. The bankruptcy protection in the United States saved
Donald Trump from his own bankruptcy caused by all his business failures.
Donald Trump’s ego-self turned around sharply
and suddenly when he was elected the 45th President of the United
States. With that great boost to his already self-inflated ego, he thought he
could do just about anything to control everyone and everything around him. But
his inflated ego was severely compromised when he “unexpectedly” lost his
second-term presidency that led to many allegations of his conspiracy, insurrection, and plot to
illegally hold onto power to sustain his inflated ego.
On the other side of those with an inflated
ego are those living with a deflated ego. They often feel inadequate,
incompetent, insecure, and even unloved. Their perceived low self-esteem often
originates from an unhappy childhood with extremely critical and demanding
parents, as well as from their own ongoing life events, such as career and
relationship failures and problems.
An
illustration
Paris Hilton is
the great-granddaughter of the founder of the famous Hilton Hotels. Being given
the nickname of “Star” by her mother and grandmother, and growing up in fame
and prestige, she began her modeling career at any early age. Due to her own
demand for celebrity status and media attention, Paris also began her other
careers in books, music, and screen appearances. Her book “Confessions of An
Heiress” was on the New York Times’s
bestseller list; her role in the film “The House of Wax” earned her The Teen
Choices Award.
But Paris Hilton always
thought that she was “less successful” than others. Her “deflated ego” and her
envy of those who were “more successful” than she was led to her continual
pursuit in music and television shows, such as “The World According to Paris,”
and “Hollywood Love Story.” Feeling being a mediocre, she was always envious of
those who she thought were more successful than herself. Throughout her different
careers, she was haunted by the sin of pride and the sin of envy. The Guinness World Record in 2007 named Paris Hilton
“the most overrated celebrity.” According to the media, she was “the worst
actress of the decade.”
The Bottom Line
Living by faith, you live with
humility and not pride if you’ve an inflated ego; you live with simplicity to
give you confidence, hope, and strength if you’ve a deflated ego.
Living by faith, you believe that God has given you your true self
destined by Him to live a life of humility and simplicity.
Living By Faith shows you how
to live your life in this material world with real-life examples.

Payback Anger
In
Houston, Texas, a man using his gun robbed diners in a taqueria restaurant. The
robber was on the verge of leaving that restaurant when he was shot 9 times by
a vigilante diner, who then helped diners recover their money robbed at that
Houston taqueria restaurant before disappearing.
The police later discovered that the
suspect’s weapon was only a “plastic gun.” Texas police began searching for
that vigilante diner, with that “you-take-my-cash-I-take-your-life”
mindset out of anger.
Anger is about threats and violations to
your wellbeing. So, being able to feel anger and use anger
to safeguard your own personal wellbeing is important. People who can’t get
angry often end up accepting aggressions and violations of their
wellbeing. Many victims of family abuse simply adjust to verbal threat
or even physical violence and accept mistreatment as an unhappy fact of life.
They learn to deny its emotional impact, to rationalize its harm, and even to
avoid upsetting the abuser. Adults, who’ve learned these “survival” skills as
children, often end up marrying into abusive relationships not because they
want to, but because they unconsciously feel the abuse comfortably familiar and
even normal.

The Importance of Human Wisdom
THE IMPORTANCE OF HUMAN WISDOM
The ancient Tao wisdom from China -- the wisdom of Lao Tzu, the ancient sage who was the author of the immortal classic Tao Te Ching on human wisdom -- provides a blueprint for nourishing human wisdom: an empty mind with reverse thinking, mindfulness for clarity thinking, living in the present with no expectations of the future, no picking and choosing, accepting and embracing everything that comes in the natural cycle of change—what goes up must always come down. True human wisdom is the ability to understand that how the mind works and how human attachments are formed.
Why is human wisdom so important in the art of living well? The mind is
responsible for thinking, and hence what we do and how we
live our lives. Our thinking comes from our thoughts, which derive from our
perceptions based on our five senses. Our thoughts then become our memories,
stored in our subconscious minds. These subconscious memories affect our
many life choices and decisions either positively or negatives, producing many
experiences that become our assumptions and predictions that further change the
way we think. In short, our life experiences become the raw materials with
which we form not only our realities but also our ego-selves.
One of the essentials of Tao wisdom is living in the present
moment. Scarlet O’Hara in Gone With the Wind said
at the end: “Tomorrow is another day.”
Yes, tomorrow is another day, but that day may or may never come.
Fortunately or unfortunately, we always choose to believe that it will
come. Fortunately in that it may give us hope and
expectation; unfortunately in that it may divorce ourselves
from the realities of life, making us less grateful of the present or less
thankful of what we already have
Living in the now is exemplary of the consciousness of being,
which holds the key to understanding human wisdom. Today is now, and
mindfulness of the present is the realization not only that tomorrow is another
day but also that it may never come. This mental consciousness makes us aware
that we must be constantly asking ourselves mind-searching questions about what
we need to know now; what we need to love now; what we
need to be grateful for now. In short, today provides the compass
and roadmap for our life journey, which may abruptly end tomorrow.

FREE BOOK: "ANGRY NO MORE" 3/30 and 3/31
Aging begins as early as late twenties or early thirties, and accelerates as time progresses. Aging causes many problems leading to pain and suffering, and ultimately death. Successful aging requires living in reality.
Unfortunately, many are living in fancy and fantasy, but not in reality. Why not? It is because many commit sins and do evils, thinking they can get away without any accountability as long as they do not break the law and order of their countries. The book of Revelation provides spiritual wisdom for a non-believer to become a believer in order to cope and deal with all the problems of aging. Yes, aging brings about death, but the revelation of aging is eternal salvation.

TAO in Everything
The TAO has thrived and survived thousands of years for a good reason: what was applicable in the past is still applicable in the present; what was true in the past is still true today. Another testament to this universal truth is that "Tao Te Ching"-- the only book written by Lao Tzu -- is one of the most translated books in world literature -- probably only after the Bible.
The TAO is easy to understand but most controversial. The explanation is that there is no absolute truth about human wisdom, which is all about self-intuition and self-enlightenment. That is to say, your mind is uniquely yours, and your thinking is your own thinking.
